I love taking progress pics and bikini pics. I love making aesthetic heathy food and finding the best in life. I love documenting it and finding expression through words.
The past year, I’ve felt that passion dim a little. Not because it’s not there but because life gets in the way.
But no more!
I found that enjoying life and making it one that you deserves is all based around two things.
CONFIDENCE & EFFORT
When you have confidence with yourself you have the availability to FLY!
The past 5 years my confidence and has been one heck of a roller coaster and I feel the best and enjoy life a substantial amount more when my confidence is shining.
Having confidence is attractive and beautiful and just completely empowering.
And that’s why it’s so important!
Confidence is the root of your happiness and health.
So stay with me…if you want to get your excitement for life and passion back, it needs to start with your confidence. Then, you have to have enough willpower and put in enough effort to ACTUALLY make a change.
If you truly want something to change in your life, and I know you do because if not you wouldn’t be reading this, then you have to put in a little more effort!
And that, my friend, is the secret to find happiness and love life again!
So now that you are ready to put in some effort, let’s talk about to how to actually do it.
How to Find Happiness and Love Life Again
1. Take care of your body with exercise and proper nutrition
As a women, body image is such a big confidence driver.
Engaging in consist exercise provides an almost immediate confidence boost.
Our bodies release serotonin and dopamine when we exercise. Our muscles get a pump.
Not only that but I feel on top of the world after exercise.
Even after 1 consistent week of exercise, I feel so much better about myself and more confidence. Then, add on healthy nutrition and your body is going to be dancing!
When your body feels heathy and strong, you feel good. Everything becomes better and your confidence starts to go up.
Make a plan and start taking action for a healthier you! You only have one body so you need to take care of it.

2. Dress confidently
Clothes can have such a big effect on confidence. When you feel good in your clothes, it can seriously change your mood and attitude.
When you are wearing an outfit you are super confident in, you are suddenly much more inclined to be yourself, stand out and enjoy life.
Contrary, if you are wearing an outfit you are super uncomfortable in, you may be more reserved and less likely to take action. Instead of focusing on the good parts of your day, you are suddenly worrying about how you look and all your insecurities.
Clothes aren’t everything, but it would be a lie to say that they don’t matter.
Look good, feel good, play good.
I am so particular with the clothes that I buy because they have to be cute but I also have to feel confident in them.
I will not buy something and especially not wear it if I feel self-conscious in the clothing.
You deserve to feel beautiful in your clothes!

3. Surround yourself with people that make you feel good
This one is SO important!
The people you surround yourself with effects not only your friendship but also your mental health, emotional well-being, confidence, and actions.
If you fall into the wrong crowd you may knock your life off the path you want.
Surrounding yourself with like-minded people who share the same values, morals and determination is crucial.
4. Go on a Retreat to Reset and Unwind
Sometimes all you need is a good reset button.
With all the white noise, ciaos, and hustling is it nice to unwind and escape it all.
And you don’t have to have a ton of money to achieve this.
Find a close weekend getaway or go for a picnic in nature.
Moments like these are meant for you to stop and thinking about your life. Thinking about everything that is good and the things you can change.
A reset is meant to unwind and thinking about the good in your life and what makes you truly happy.
5. Do the little thing!
I have realized that you have to make the time for those little details in life that just adds a hint more happiness and laughter.
Truly do it for the memories!!
Take those 5 extra minutes to stop and take a photo or to put on a candle.
The little joys in life can be so simple but make such an impact.
Still don’t understand? Well here is a list all the little things you can make a habit of doing to romanticize your life and bring in more happiness and health.
- Take a photo or selfie
- Light a candle
- Enjoy a sunrise or sunset
- Get ready in the morning
- Put a bow in your hair
- Buy/pick flowers
- Smile at a stranger
- Sleep on warm, freshly washed sheets
- Bake homemade bread
- Appreciate a rainbow
If you wanna be the girl that takes mirror pics and bubble baths and dresses up cute, just do it! You can choose to enjoy your day to day life even when it seems ordinary.
Nobody is stopping you.
6. Start saying YES
Chances are, if you feel like your life is boring and has little excitement, it’s probably because you stopped saying yes.
- Wanna run a marathon, say yes.
- Your friend asks if you want to get a drink after work, say yes.
- Your mother-in-law wants to have dinner with you, SAY YES.
We, as humans, are creatures of habit. But habit can get boring and really repetitive.
New experiences create excitement, growth and say it with me…happiness and health.
So if you want to find happiness and health in your life, just say yes.
You will be surprised at how life changing that can be.
7. Pursue your passions
Make time for your passions.
Everyday responsibilities often get in the way of doing the things that bring you joy. In order to love life again, you need to start making the time.
Whether it’s diving into a creative endeavor, immersing ourselves in nature, or engaging in meaningful relationships, finding activities that will bring you genuine pleasure and fulfillment can breathe new life into your existence.
These pursuits not only provide avenues for self-expression but also serve as reminders of the richness and diversity of human experience.
Not sure what your passions are? Now’s the time to find them.
Try new hobbies or something you have always wanted to do. One thing I tried this past year is pottery! And it was amazing. New hobbies are exciting and fun!
It is the perfect way to add some spice into your life and find happiness.

Ultimately, finding happiness and learning to love life again is a deeply personal journey that requires patience, introspection, and a willingness to embrace change.
It’s about rediscovering the magic in everyday moments, fostering connections with ourselves and others, and approaching life with a sense of curiosity and wonder.
By nurturing these qualities and staying open to the beauty and possibility that surrounds us, we can experience profound transformation and cultivate a lasting sense of joy and fulfillment.

I love this article, especially this point, “Dress confidently.” I feel like sometimes we don’t pay attention to how we dress and the effects it has on us. In my case, if I am wearing an outfit I like, my mood, confidence, and presence come through vs. just dressing because I have to. I wish more people knew why this is actually an important part of our routine too.

These are such great tips! Post COVID shutdown I’ve struggled to get back in the routine of dressing confidently, but it truly does make such a difference! And I love the idea of embracing Yes!
